I CAN’T STOP LAUGHING!!!!!

If you haven’t heard, Adam “MCA” Yauch passed away last Friday. Growing up, I would rank the Beastie Boys as one of the few groups that introduced me to what is generally considered real hip-hop and the music genre. It was tough reading the news about his passing but MCA earned his legend status and his contribution to music will continue live on in the classics that he helped create as a member of the Beastie Boys. 

Rest in Peace MCA.

This is going to be so freaking awesome. 

I’m digging the funky/disco feel of the music put out by Miami Horror. This song by them is a great song for me to listen to as I’m driving around especially now with the warm weather approaching.

There’s nothing like good old-fashion funk. This intro is just too sick and countless people have sampled this awesomeness (i.e. Tribe Called Quest). I just love this music genre and era.

The weather starting to have that “let’s go to the beach” feel again and this kind music just has a great laid back feel to it. Perfect for studying or relaxing.
